REN No. 1 Purity Cleansing Balm

A luxurious silky rose infused cleansing balm. When applied with water the balm transforms into a rich milk and leaves skin purified, calm and glowing. It gently yet thoroughly melts away dirt and make up (including waterproof mascara). Protects the skin’s defense barrier against everyday environmental stress, free radicals and pollution.

Our Thoughts:

Hallelujah! My poor, dry, winter ravaged skin is rejoicing. And my verbiage seems to have been influenced by the holiday season. I first tried this product on the recommendation of a friend who raved it was “the bomb dot com”. I consider him a bit of a skincare guru so I decided to give it a try. Lets me just say if I could take a bath in this stuff I would. The texture is heavenly. I think I spent about 20 minutes massaging it into my face. It felt so lovely! The scent of the Rose Oil, known for its stress relieving properties, was subtle, not overpowering in the least. The Balm quickly melted away every bit of my full face of makeup (waterproof liner and mascara included). I emulsified with water as directed and it transformed into a rich milky texture. I chose to remove the product with a cloth as opposed to rinsing with water. I would definitely recommend this option to anyone with dry and/or flaky skin. I am thrilled with the results! I could not keep my hands off of my face for the rest of the evening. Even without my moisturizer my skin felt silky and smooth. Huge thumbs up for the REN No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm!

Lush Lip Scrub + Auqaphor Healing Ointment

Lush Lip Scrub

The sweetest confection exfoliates lips smooth, prepping them for your favourite lip colour or balm. A blend of exfoliating Fair Trade sugar and moisturizing jojoba oil, this lip scrub is sure to leave your lips enticingly soft and satisfy your sweet tooth at the same time! Scrub Bubblegum over your lips (be sure to lick off the excess) and then apply your favourite lip colour for a flawless finish.

Our Thoughts:

Lip scrubs are amazing for exfoliating dead skin and a must in many makeup artist’s kit. Every winter dry cracked lips make an appearance. My lips are always dry due to weather and  my obsession with matte lipstick.  This lip scrub in particular has become my favourite. The Lush Lip Scrub is non abrasive, smells amazing and does the job without a fuss. I’ve tried many other lip scrubs, this one stands out to me because it leaves a silky feel and doesn’t tear up my lips in the process. I find many other lips scrubs very abrasive, smelly and messy. No fuss no muss with this one!

TIP: Lipstick doesn’t stick or look very sexy on dry, cracked lips. So scrub and exfoliate for a perfect sexy pout with any lip colour.

Aquaphor Healing Ointment

Aquaphor Healing Ointment soothes and protects chafed, chapped and damaged skin and lips by creating a protective barrier to help seal in moisture.

Use for: cold winter weather.

Our thoughts:

This stuff is amazing!  Listen, I’ve tried ’em all, from Blistex, Vaseline and Chapstick and they all seem to make my chapped lips worse . Aquaphor Healing Ointment is my favourite go to product for mending my dry lips quickly. I keep tubes of it everywhere ,my purse, nightstand and car. It’s thick, rich and stays on!  I use it year round and it has no scent which is great for guys too.  In the cold weather I pop some on if I have any dry patches on my nose or eye area. The best thing about this product is that it makes your lips look smooth and feel great.

TIP:  Use Aquaphor  at the beginning of a makeup application after lip scrub so that lips are moist and hydrated, ready to apply any colour.

Lush Lip Scrub paired with Aquaphor Healing Ointment is my favourite combination for a sexy, kissable pout. Try this combo guys, seriously!
